V6 Alloytec Manifold for Holden Commodore, Rodeo & Colorado – Gain 11% More Power

Double the plenum volume of the standard manifold

Open up and say ahhh: The standard manifold (left) and the easy-breathing CPR6 Manifold.
You can add 20rwhp to your Alloytec V6 in a couple of hours in your back shed. On a standard engine in the family VE sedan, the modified manifold returns 8.6l/100km, which helps the family budget.
Proven results include 330 rwhp from a standard 3.6L V6, showcasing our bolt-on products’ effectiveness.
Watch the 444bhp engine on the dyno
Yes, that’s right, 444 horses from a naturally-aspirated V6 Alloytec engine. Tuned by the renowned Phil Laird at the engine dyno at KV’s Fabrication in Maroochydore. Note that the figures on the screen are the uncorrected figures, so we’ve also included the corrected figures in chart form below. We’re confident we can get 500 hp in the near future out of these engines, so if you’re keen to know more, get in touch.
The video below was taken in 2008, with the engine that you see on the engine dyno, the same one that is in the Performance Manifolds ute seen at the start of the video. We are now pulling 444 hp.

Bolt on an 11% power increase
The V6 Alloytec CPR6 Inlet Manifold produced by Performance Manifolds puts on an 11% horsepower increase on a standard engine and standard exhaust system, and up to 60% power increase on a highly modified cylinder head, cam & exhaust system combination.
That’s 444hp, up from 261hp = 183hp of bolt-on power parts screwed onto a standard V6 alloytec small block … if you’re still not impressed, that’s at 8750rpm.

FIGURE 1: The flow chart from Chestertons showing the standard flow (bottom), the theoretical maximum potential flow (top) and the flow achieved by Performance Manifolds.

FIGURE 2: By adding the CPR6 manifold alone, you can add 20 hp to a standard V6 Commodore alloytec (6000 rpm) at the tyre, and 25 hp to an SV6 (6500 rpm) at the tyre. Two hours and four spanners – bolt on and enjoy!

FIGURE 3: The blue lines in this graph show a heavily modified engine (but still with all standard engine internals except for the camshafts) versus a stock standard V6 alloytec (red lines).

FIGURE 4: The red lines in this graph show a heavily modified engine (but still with all standard engine internals except for the camshafts). The blue lines are the same engine, but with the addition of the CPR6 manifold. As you can see, even with a fully tuned engine, you are still 45 hp off the pace unless you’ve got the CPR6.
